The Morningside Hotel has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and is a modern and comfortable hotel located in the glorious town of Whitby. The hotel is located in a peaceful location with exceptional views overlooking the sea. The Morningside has been run by Paul and Sandra since 1989 and is a family run hotel who pride themselves on high standards of cleanliness and service alongside their friendly and courteous staff.

Guest Facilities

We have a well appointed bar, lounge and breakfast room with stunning sea views to take in at your leisure. The hotel is a non smoking establishment throughout and has car parking facilities for the guests. Daily Housekeeping. Free Wifi for all guests.

Location

The hotel is located on Whitby's West Cliff and is within walking distance to all of Whitby's amenities. To the East is the harbour entrance, to the West is the village of Sandsend and to the north are the rolling waves of the North Sea, dotted with yachts, pleasure craft and local fishing boats. Directly below the hotel lies miles of golden sands. You can stroll down the two piers with fishing all year round. Whitby is steeped in history and has a wide selection of activities for you to explore and discover.
